Limited Lifetime Warranty
The warranty assigned to your project is stated in your proposal.
Integra Painters LLC offers a warranty on all interior and exterior paint projects with the default period (unless otherwise specified) being two (2) years. Extended warranties are available that correspond with product and service plan selection.
Though subject to limitations below, for the period described above, starting the day of completion of the original project, Integra Painters LLC will repair any portion of the project that was described in the original accepted bid that fails due to workmanship. Repairs are limited to coatings that are chipping, cracking, peeling, or blistering.
The coating product/material may have a warranty that exceeds the workmanship warranty offered by Integra Painters LLC. Product failures are not to be considered workmanship failures. Integra Painters LLC will facilitate a project viewing with a manufacturer’s representative to determine if the issue falls under the manufacturer’s warranty and the proper course of action.
To obtain this warranty, you must:
Have paid the original General Service Agreement (“Contract”) in full; Retain a copy of the original contract; Attend a walk through to determine liability with management from Integra Painters LLC.; Make the property accessible to Integra Painters LLC and their employees to make the repairs; Properly maintain your painted surface(s) as described within this document.
Limitations to the warranty are as follows:
Any work that Integra Painters LLC did not supply the materials used/applied; Any repairs necessitated as a result of a defect/failure in the coating material(s) regardless of whether or not it was supplied by Integra Painters LLC or the client; Repairs to any horizontal surfaces or any surface that, by design, permits moisture to collect on or against. Such surfaces include, but are not limited to, decks, railings, stairs, porches, roof lines and adjoining trim boards such as fascia, and gutters; Repairs needed caused by knots, rust, natural excretions of wood, wax bleed; Varnished surfaces; Surfaces made of, or containing, galvanized metal or cast iron surfaces; Improperly maintained or neglected surfaces.
Repairs needed caused by:
Ordinary wear and tea; Abnormal use or misuse; Adhesion failure of previous paint job; Structural defects – settling – movement; Damage or defects caused in whole or in part by fire, flood, extreme weather conditions (including, but not limited to, hail, wind, rain, snow, or ice), “acts of nature”, alterations, vandalism, negligence, or any other like causes that are beyond the control of Integra Painters LLC. are not covered under this warranty.
Instructions for Care:
It is important to establish proper procedures to clean and maintain all coatings. Efforts should be made to limit exposure of contaminants and environmental conditions that will damage the film. If contaminants remain on the surface, damage will progress at a greater rate than if the surface is regularly cleaned. Likewise, prolonged exposure to adverse conditions (excessive heat, immersion, heavy abrasion, tensile stress and compression, etc.) will also reduce the service life of the coating. Coatings that do not receive proper care will neither perform nor last as intended or designed. Chips, scrapes or other abrasions should be touched-up immediately and regular washing should be a part of your home maintenance routine. Therefore, Integra Painters LLC will provide a care and cleaning recommendation corresponding with each warranty period.

Recommendations for maintaining high-performance coatings:
The frequency of maintenance is dependent on the amount of contamination that accumulates on the coating film. Dirt, dust and other contaminants left on the film will dull the finish. Liquids and biological matter may stain, discolor and damage the finish. Exterior applications may increase the potential for exposure to environmental chemicals such as chlorides, acids, hydrocarbon gas, biologicals, etc., which will damage the coating film over time.
Remove spilled materials immediately before they have a chance to soften or damage the finish. Spills of caustics, acids, solvents or other harsh liquids that are allowed to remain on the film may soften, discolor or completely remove the coatings. Biological materials (mold, excrement, insect nests, etc.) may contain acids and could have a similar effect. The following should be avoided:

-
Exposure to excessive or prolonged heat will discolor or damage the coating film and should be avoided. Do not expose the film to open flame or temperatures in excess of 200°F.
-
For coatings that are not intended for immersion conditions, standing water must be removed to prevent softening of the coating film. Long-term or repeated exposure to high moisture or immersion conditions will reduce the service life of the coating film. Do not place materials that hold or trap water on the coating film, as this will reflect immersion conditions and create the potential for failure.
-
Excessive abrasion of the surface will result in damage to the coating film. Do not affix hangers or hard surfaces to the coating film as movement could potentially damage the film over time.
-
Rusted metals may stain the coating film and should not be placed in contact with the coating. Rust- bleed should be removed immediately to reduce the potential for staining.
-
Repair gouges and scratches as soon as possible. If primer or intermediate coatings become exposed, repair the finish coating as soon as possible as per the manufacturer’s recommendations to prevent chalking of the underlying film which could cause the top coat to delaminate.
Repairs under this limited warranty will be performed only on the specific areas where the workmanship issue has occurred. Repairs and coating will be performed only to the level of surface preparation and painting described in the ‘scope of work’ section of the original contract.
This limited warranty is the only express warranty made by the contractor and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. This warranty covers only those services provided by the contractor to the original purchaser named on the front of this contract. In no event shall the contractor be liable for incidental or consequential damages or damages in excess of the original contract price. This warranty may not be altered or extended for any purpose unless done so in writing in a document executed by all parties to this contract. Integra Painters LLC reserves the right to modify this document at any time without notice.
